Sam is an experienced chiropractor who has been working in Sydney and the Canberra region since early 2010.
He has a Bachelor of Chiropractic Science and Master of Chiropractic degree from Macquarie University, completed in 2009. Across his career he has consistently sought opportunities to improve his skills as a practitioner, most notably in areas of special interest to him, including paediatric chiropractic, pregnancy care and sports chiropractic. This has culminated in being accepted as a Titled Paediatric Chiropractor with the Australasian Institute of Chiropractic Education.
Treatment with Sam involves the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions, and the assessment and correction of movement dysfunctions and structural concerns, with the aim of the return to normal activity as quickly and completely as possible.
Focus on paediatric and pregnancy care
Sam has completed professional development related to working with pregnant women, babies and children, including a two year Diplomate in Chiropractic Neurodevelopmental Paediatrics. He has extensive experience in the assessment and treatment of tongue and lip ties in babies, children and adults. Sam provides treatment and advice to mums-to-be for the management of pregnancy related musculoskeletal issues. He works with babies and children to assess and manage various musculoskeletal and structural conditions. These can include, among others, plagiocephaly and tongue tie in babies, and gait issues and postural concerns in older children.
Focus on sport
Sam also has a particular interest in working with sports-related injuries and issues, treating people from a range of sporting backgrounds. He has also completed additional training in the diagnosis, treatment and management of concussion and post-concussion syndrome. Sam’s own experience in marathons and CrossFit enables him to better understand the needs and requirements of athletes. He can help you manage your acute or chronic injury, and return to training, whatever your current sport or level of involvement.
Sam has treated at sporting events including at the IRONMAN World Championships in Kona, Hawai’i, and at the Pacific Regional CrossFit Games in Wollongong. He has often treated at a variety of local CrossFit events.
